Dr. Georgina Montgomery’s research on Ecology at Wytham Woods was recently featured in Bodleian’s Magazine as one of Bodleian’s Visiting Fellows.
Georgina is a historian of science focusing on women in science, history of field sciences and inclusion. Her PhD in History of Science is from University of Minnesota with a focus on Ecology, Evolution and Behavior. She is a professor in the History Department and the associate dean for teaching and learning in Lyman Briggs College. One of Georgina’s recent awards was the Teacher-Scholar Award from Michigan State University in 2016.
