What I like most about being an advisor…
Attending college is already tough enough, then you have to navigate classes, university policies and procedures, while trying to study, work, and attend class. That’s a lot for anyone!
I want to help students get what they need in order to get where they’re going using a holistic approach and appreciative advising. Getting to know the individual, not just the student. If I can help promote student success in a seamless fashion, that’s what I appreciate the most about advising at MSU.
