Ethan Segal delivered a presentation on travel and travelers in Early Modern Japan to 70+ school teacher participants from around the country. Dr. Segal’s talk, titled “Walking the Tōkaidō Road: Who, Why, and How,” was given on February 23, 2021, as part of the Five College Center for East Asian Studies course “Walking the Tōkaidō: A Multi-Disciplinary Experience in History and Culture.”
