The Football Scholars Forum held a five-part summer series with award-winning author David Goldblatt on his new book, The Age of Football: The Global Game in the Twenty-first Century [UK edition here / US edition here].
Professor Peter Alegi was the convenor of the series, which registered 56 participants from five continents. He also served as discussant in the June 9 session on Africa, while Dr. Matthew Pauly was a discussant in the July 14 session on Russia and the 2018 World Cup.
