This prize, which honors the best essay on women in the history of Christianity published in the previous calendar year, is awarded to Dr. Emily Conroy-Krutz, Associate Professor of History at Michigan State University, for her article “The Forgotten Wife: Roxanna Nott and Missionary Conceptions of Marriage,” published in Journal of Early American Studies (Winter 2018)
