Fourth year PhD candidate Ramya Swayamprakash was invited to participate in a symposium, ON EDGE: Mediating Cultural Borders, at the University of Windsor on May 23 where she presented a paper—”Borderlands as Infrastructurescapes: Rethinking political borders.”
Additionally on May 29-30, she will be participating in a workshop, The Social life of the Sediment Balance: Combining Social and Geomorphic Approaches to River Systems and Deltas where she will be presenting her paper—”The Social Life of Sediment Landscapes in the Lower Detroit River.”
