Yulian Wu was invited to participate in workshop “Images, Objects, and Gender in China” at Harvard University in April, 2019. At the workshop, she presented a paper titled “Jade Thumb Rings: Object, Skill, and Manchu Masculinity in Eighteenth-Century China.”
