PhD candidate Shaonan Liu won a Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship from the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange. His dissertation title: “‘The Chinese Are Coming’: A History of Chinese Migrants in Nigeria”. His field is writing and research in the field or Chinese Studies in the humanities and social sciences. The grant period is one year (July 2017 – June 2018). Congratulations Shaonan!
