Dr. Susan Sleeper-Smith receives a NEH award

The National Endowment for the Humanities Committee on Awards has voted to offer Professor Susan Sleeper-Smith a fellowship for her project “Gender, Race and Empire: Mapping State Formation through the Lives of Indian Women.” The fellowship is for research at the Newberry Library in Chicago between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014. Congratulations Susan!
