Susan Sleeper-Smith honored by Newberry Library in Chicago

Professor Susan Sleeper-Smith has been named Scholar in Residence at the Newberry Library in Chicago.  The Newberry Library is home to a world-class collection of books, manuscripts, and maps, and also to a growing community of readers.  The Newberry offers highly acclaimed programs for serious readers: fellowships for scholars, seminars for undergraduates, professional development activities for teachers, and a variety of seminars, lectures, and workshops.
