The Michigan State University chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honorary, held an initiation for new members on November 9, 2010. The following were inducted into the fraternity: Justin Childress, Kelly Clayton, Kailey Crowe, Kelly Harro, Nicholas Huhn, Coretta Kamdem, James Kolkema, Eric Marselle, Theresa Mikrut, Noah Nelson, Roger Peterson, Dawn Pickett, Julie Reinheimer, Savoy Allison, Zachary Sobezak, Casey Steffee, and Joel Taggart. Walter Hawthorne, the chair of the History Department, gave an address to the initiates. Jane Vieth, chapter advisor, was also present for the initiation.
