I study Russian and Soviet history under the supervision of Dr. Lewis Siegelbaum. I am interested in the long stretch of the border of the Soviet Union and Russia, especially with its neighbors in the East. I am also obsessed with the USSR’s involvement in and influence on other socialist states in the 20th century.
I graduated from Xiamen University in 2010, and received my M.A. degree in Slavic and East European Studies from The Ohio State University in 2012.
