Research & Outreach

Connecting research to community

MSU History is home to faculty and graduate students whose research spans every region of the world and all periods of the past. From archives and oral histories to digital and public‑facing projects, their groundbreaking work is shaping how we understand history today—and bringing those discoveries directly into the classroom. Through talks, collaborations, exhibitions, and other forms of outreach, our historians share their expertise with the broader MSU community and beyond.
