Dr. Liz Timbs has been awarded a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship in sub-Saharan African History at North Carolina State University.
A Fulbright scholar and Interim Assistant Director of the MSU African Studies Center, Dr. Timbs recently completed her PhD under Prof. Peter Alegi’s guidance. Her dissertation is titled “The Regiments: Cultural Histories of Zulu Masculinities and Gender Formation in South Africa, 1816-2018.”
