Professor Ethan Segal, whose recent research explores new views of foreign relations in East Asia during Japan’s medieval period, will be giving a paper titled “Yuan Dynasty Policies and Their Impact on Early Medieval Japan” at the international conference “Mobility and Transformations: Economic and Cultural Exchange in Mongol Eurasia,” held at Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel, June 29-July 14. The conference brings together scholars of Mongol Studies from across Asia, Europe, and North America.
