MSU’s Department of History is pleased to announce the competition for our endowed scholarships. Graduate and undergraduate scholarship awards are available.
If you fit the criteria for any awards, please apply. You may apply for as many awards as you qualify for.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: Monday, March 9 at 8 a.m.
- Graduate students should apply using this form.
- Undergraduates should apply using this form.
Please submit one form PER award. If the award you are applying for requires letters of recommendation, faculty should submit them to History Department Recommendations Form.
Awardees of the scholarships will be notified in late-March/early April and will be invited to attend the department award ceremony on Friday, May 1 at 11 a.m.
Applications are also open for the Henderson Family Award for the Study of Slavery, which is open to undergraduate and graduate students interested in the study of slavery. These applications are separate from the Department of History and are due March 28.
