Sally Parampottil is a first-year PhD student at Michigan State University. Her research interests include South Asian American sports history during the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. Sally received her B.A. in History and English from the University of Texas at Austin, with minors in French and Asian American Studies. Her undergraduate work included a project on the South Asian diaspora in France through the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship and an honors thesis about Sports Illustrated’s representation of female Olympians throughout the Cold War.
