On March 5, 2014, Prof. Peter Alegi gave an invited lecture at Brigham Young University’s David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies titled “Beyond Vuvuzelas and Samba: Lessons from South Africa 2010 for Brazil 2014.” The talk was introduced by Dr. Leslie Hadfield, an alumna of the MSU History Department (PhD 2010) and currently an Assistant Professor of African history at BYU.
