Marissa Knaak is a fixed-term assistant professor in the history department at MSU. She received her PhD from MSU in July 2025. Her field of study is modern Europe with a focus on Britain and Germany. Her work focuses on gender and labor in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She received MA’s from Simmons University and the University of York in Gender & Cultural Studies and Public History.
