Erica Holt is a historian of East Asia who is especially interested in the dialogue between vernacular and biomedical knowledge in birth work in modern China. In addition to the history of medicine, she also enjoys exploring the role of textiles and fashion in East Asian society. Her favorite on-campus attraction is the Moist Towelette Museum, and she invites recommendations for other obscure attractions (particularly if haunted).
