Professor Liam Brockey will be giving a lecture on the origins of Sinology, at Calvin College. The lecture, titled “The First China Hands: Iberian Visitors to the Ming Empire and the Forgotten Origins of Sinology”, is part of the History Colloquia and takes place at 3:30pm on Wednesday, February 24th, in the Commons Annex lecture hall.
