MSU announces Fulbright student awards for 2022-23 and our own Marlo Buser was a recipient.
PhD student, Marlo Buser, is excited to embark on archival research in Serbia thanks to the Fulbright award. Marlo’s dissertation work focuses on ethnicity, constitutionalism, and the law in both Yugoslavia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. It is thanks to the support of the History Department and advisors, Dr. Sean Forner and Dr. Matthew Pauly, that Marlo was able to receive this award. The classes taken at MSU prepared Marlo for this, especially by honing their ability to explain research in clear and concise language. Marlo is looking forward to representing both the US and MSU in Serbia to fulfill the Fulbright goal of promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
