PhD candidate Anh Le has been selected to receive the International Dissertation Research Fellowship from the Social Science Research Council and the Andrew Mellon Foundation based on his project entitled “Chinese Migration, Colonialism, and the Making of Cosmopolitan Saigon, 1862-1954.” Anh was among 70 dissertation projects funded this year out of 988 applications from 108 US Universities.
