Je’lon Alexander is a first year PhD student at Michigan State University. His research interest focuses on 20th-century African American history, race, gender, social movements, and Black Women’s history. Prior to Michigan State, Mr. Alexander received his B.A. in History at Morehouse College, where he was a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. He also obtained his M.A. in African American Studies at Georgia State University.
