Ethan Segal presented research on the murder of a medieval shogun in a paper delivered at the University of Pittsburgh earlier this month. Segal’s paper was part of a panel that he organized on the theme of revenge and retribution in medieval Japan for the MId-Atlantic Region Association for Asian Studies Conference.
