History major Anna Esenther won first place at MSU’s University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum (UURAF) in April 2019 in the category of History, Political Science, and Economics oral presentations for her project, “Fact or Fancy? The Conflicting Approaches of Classical Economists and Mid-Nineteenth-Century English Novelists to Understanding Industrial Capitalism.” This project is based on a history honors thesis she is completing under the direction of Dr. Ronen Steinberg.
