Veit’s “Food in the Civil War” book wins award

Professor Helen Veit’s Food in the Civil War Era: The North, the first book in the American Food in History series that she edits with Michigan State University press, won Gourmand International’s award for Best Series Cookbook published in the United States in 2014.
