PhD candidate Shelby Pumphrey was awarded the 2018 Drusilla Dunjee Houston Award from the Association of Black Women Historians for her paper, “Where in the World was Louise Little: Finding the Lost Years of Louise Little’s Commitment at Kalamazoo State Hospital, 1939 – 1963.”
