Doctoral candidate Eddie Bonilla was awarded a Merrill Travel Grant by the Organization of American Historians for the upcoming 2018 conference to be held in Sacramento. Roughly five awards are presented annually to help sponsor the travel-related costs of graduate students who are confirmed as participants on the OAH conference program.
