Amanda Lewis (PhD, 2015) has received the Gill-Chin Lim Award for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation in Global Studies awarded by MSU International Studies and Programs Her co-advisers were Georgina Montgomery and Walter Hawthorne for her dissertation entitled “Amboseli Landscapes: Maasai Pastoralism, Wildlife Conservation, and Natural Resource Management in Kenya, 1944-Present”. Currently, she is a post-doctoral fellow at Utah State University’s Department of History.
