2015/16 Awards Ceremony

On May 6, 2016, History held its annual awards ceremony. Pictured on the department’s home page are some of the undergraduate students we honored. Dylan Border was the recipient of the Robert and Catherine Workman Endowed Scholarship, Duncan Tarr the David LoRomer Scholarship, Dylan Border the Sandra Sageser Clark Endowed Scholarship, Haley Keefer the Harry Reed Endowed Scholarship and the Anthony and Mary Joan Woods Scholarship, Bradley Isakson and Micaela Procopio the Irene Steindler Award, and Trenton Koch the Rout Williams Award. At the awards ceremony, we also recognized our outstanding seniors–those with GAPs of 3.8 or higher. Those were Jennifer Johnson, Evan Karlson, Savannah Kolodziej, Lauren Lowisz, Connor McLeod, Patrick Mercer, Brienne Peers, Nathan Santoscoy, and Nicholas Witgen.

The graduate students who received awards are pictured below. Anhe Lee received the Jeff Rooney Paper Prize and the Kwan-Wai So Award, Sara Bijani the Fred Williams Award, Kathryn Lankford the Harry Brown Graduate Fellowship in American History, Jorge Felipe Gonzalez the Donald Lammers Graduate Award, Janelle Edwards the Madison Kuhn Award, Emily Elliott the Muelder-Lowe Graduate Award, and Heather Brothers the Milton E.
